UNBELIEVABLE: Here’s what liberals are calling “racist” now…

It’s no secret that liberals will accuse you of racism for just about anything. In reality, the mere hint of disagreement is likely to get you branded a bigot. Sadly, the term has been thrown around so much, that it’s become watered down. Calling someone a racist should be a serious accusation, but today it likely means you’re conservative.

Not only are conservatives racist, but so is just about everything else. Earlier this year, CNN published an article claiming, of all things, math was racist.

Not to be outdone, some at the University of Washington are accusing grammar of being racist, too.

From the University of Washington:

The UW Tacoma Writing Center has taken significant steps towards standing against racism in the field of writing. With its new antiracism and social justice statement, the Center starts a conversation on the discrimination and alienation that often go unnoticed in academia. As the statement urges, “there is no inherent ‘standard’ of English,” and with this in mind, the Center aims to ensure that through compassion and careful consideration, staff do not inadvertently embrace racist practices.

That’s right, there is “no inherent ‘standard’ of English” at a degree-granting school. According to the University of Washington, we should just be able to make things up as we go:

Every student, regardless of their background, comes to college with a different collection of experiences, said Dr. Inoue. “The anti-racism statement is a document that took over a year to collaboratively create with writing center professional staff and student writing consultants. It was officially put up and incorporated in our work in the fall of 2016, so we are just beginning.” Dr. Inoue contends that in order for something to become anti-racist, there must first be an earnest discussion of how racism has produced certain standards of education or systems themselves. As a result of the pervasiveness of racism, Inoue argues, its presence must be acknowledged on a systemic level, and thus this statement was born.

Every student comes to college with different experiences, so instead of enforcing the accepted standards, we’ll just change them to fit the needs of the snowflakes. You can’t make this stuff up.

Sadly, by attempting to “help” people, the University of Washington will only set them up for future failure. No other place in the world is willing to bend to the “different collection of experiences” people have. In the real world, you either meet the standard or you don’t.

College is supposed to be a place where people learn new things and have their ideas challenged. However, that isn’t the way American higher education works anymore. Today, a college will teach you that global warming is settled science, but grammar is up for debate.

Ain’t that a kick in the head…
