Can’t catch a break! Tom Brady now “RACIST” because he posted this…

Typically, it would be pretty hard to feel bad for Tom Brady. After all, the quarterback has accomplished so much in the NFL, he’s often called the greatest of all time. Not only that, the man makes millions of dollars to play a game, and has a supermodel wife. Needless to say, life is pretty good for Tom Brady.

Despite all that, you might start to feel bad for him after all the recent heat he has taken.

During Brady’s Super Bowl preparation, some reporters started to hound him about his longstanding friendship with Donald Trump. To make matters worse, instead of being questioned about his upcoming game with the Falcons, Brady’s press conferences were spent fielding questions about immigration policy. Thinking about politics typically isn’t how players prefer to get ready for a huge game. But that’s what Brady faced.

Of course, social justice warriors picked up on the reporting, and the Patriots suddenly became the team every liberal wanted to see lose. Evidently, being friends with the president means you deserve to lose a football game. Sadly, for liberals, Brady’s team completed the largest comeback in Super Bowl history, forever cementing Brady’s legacy as one of the all time greats.

However, that wasn’t the end of the ordeal for Brady. To celebrate his team’s amazing accomplishment, Brady took to Instagram to post a famous poem. Not surprisingly, liberals had a problem with this, too.

From Heatstreet:

Tom Brady can’t catch a break from liberal nasties.

His latest crime? Posting Rudyard Kipling’s 1898 poem If on Instagram and Twitter following his fifth Super Bowl win for the New England Patriots.

If is a classic work from the Jungle Book author that was voted Best British Poem of all time a couple of decades ago. It’s most oft-cited lines—like “If you can keep your head when all about you/ Are losing theirs and blaming it on you” and “If you can meet with triumph and disaster/ And treat those two imposters just the same”—have become odes to self-confidence and humility in the context of sporting contests.

The poem has been featured in Apocalypse Now, adapted into a song by Joni Mitchell, read out on the BBC to conclude their 1998 World Cup soccer coverage, and used by the Boston Red Sox for a video tribute last year to retiring player David ‘Big Papi’ Ortiz.

But when Brady, who has already been savaged for his ties to Trump and labeled a white supremacist, posts If—it’s a big deal.

That’s right, Brady’s latest crime is posting one of the most inspiring poems of all time. But if liberals don’t like you, anything you do is racist. Brady is quickly finding that out.

Of course, this kind of attitude is exactly what helped propel Donald Trump to an election night victory. If liberals don’t stop accusing everyone of racism, they may never win another election.

Maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
