Bitter Clinton Aide lashes out at Kellyanne Conway, REGRETS it immediately…

In news that will surprise nobody, Hillary Clinton’s team is still out on their excuse tour, blaming everyone and everything but themselves for losing the election. This time, they may have stooped to new low.

After every election since 1972, Harvard’s Kennedy School has hosted a forum of top campaign aides to record their thoughts on the election. The event is usually polite and cordial, giving those in attendance the first opportunity to record the historical moment. However, Clinton aide Jennifer Palmieri used the platform to sling even more mud at Trump’s team and his supporters. From NBC:

“If providing a platform for white supremacists makes me a brilliant tactician, I am proud to have lost,” said Palmieri, one of six Clinton aides who sat across tables from top Trump campaign staff at a forum moderated by three journalists, NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell among them. “I would rather lose than win the way you guys did.”

Of course, it would only take a moment of self-reflection for the Clinton team to realize that the reason they lost was because their candidate was not only historically unpopular, but also corrupt and likely more qualified for a term in jail than the White House. But no, the excuse factory that has already blamed Fox News and the Electoral College also went to the low of blaming white supremacy.

Thankfully, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway was having none of it, firing back:

“Do you think you could have just had a decent message for white, working-class voters? How about, it’s Hillary Clinton, she doesn’t connect with people? How about, they have nothing in common with her? How about, she doesn’t have an economic message?”

“Guys, I can tell you are angry, but wow. Hashtag he’s your president … will you ever accept the election results? Will you tell your protesters that he’s their president, too?”

Conway hits the nail on the head. Trump won this election because he was able to connect with voters on a level Clinton was not. Trump ran a campaign on issues, speaking to working class voters in the Midwest about their economic woes, while the Clinton campaign resorted to insults. It was Trump’s economic message that allowed him to carry states that had not gone for a Republican since 1988, breaking down the fabled “blue wall” Democrats simply assumed they would win.

It would appear Clinton’s camp still hasn’t learned their lesson. According to Democrats, large numbers of people that previously voted for the first black president were suddenly compelled by a platform of white supremacy.

While excuses may make them feel better about their loss, it won’t help them in the future. Democrats can scream racism all they want, Republicans will just keep winning elections.
