Leftist media just loves bashing on President Trump for using Twitter to vent his thoughts and feelings on topics and issues — a point that would be fairly made if it wasn’t for the fact these so-called “journalists” refuse to tell the truth, forcing Trump to speak directly to his base.
Well, Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, the world’s most controversial football player, apparently decided the new president could use a few Twitter pointers culled from his deep reserve of knowledge, and shared a few tips with him online.
Yahoo News reported:
The former Cleveland quarterback whose career is in jeopardy after two tumultuous seasons with the Browns tweeted at Trump on Monday that “even I know to stay away from the notifications section on twitter.”
Manziel followed by questioning why Trump responds to criticism on Twitter when there are more important things “going on in the world.”
Before deleting the account and tweeting at Trump, the 24-year-old said he’s trying to be “a good person” and suggested he’s stopped partying. He has indicated he wants to resume his NFL career. Perhaps Manziel needs to stick to downing brews, tossing footballs, and acting like a jerk because politics is clearly out of his element. The president has made it clear time and again the reason he uses Twitter is to make sure his message gets directly to the people without the slanted filter of the mainstream media.
This particular principle has only served to endear him even more to his base and further embarrass the media, and again, only wins him more fans at the end of the day.
Manziel is the one who truly needs to get off social media, dry out, and find some way to productively use his time and talents that will keep him from spending the rest of his life behind bars.
This is truly the least of all celebrities who should be giving Trump any sort of advice about the proper use of social media.
