There’s nothing quite as satisfying as watching liberals lose their minds over the implementation of conservative values, which is why the whole last month has been like one big Christmas present, as not only has Trump’s big election win triggered these delicate snowflakes, so have many of his administration picks.

Like Gen. James Mattis being chosen to be the Secretary of Defense, a decision which no doubt sent lefties scurrying for their safe spaces, bawling all the way.

Mattis is hardcore to say the least, and aside from coming up with killer quotes that should be used in every action movie produced from this moment forward, he’s likely already got ISIS wetting themselves.

In other words, he’s exactly the type of military leader we need right now. Which is precisely why House lawmakers have approved a bill to fast-track Mattis’ confirmation.

According to Free Beacon, The House passed the continuing spending resolution in a 326-96 vote on Thursday, moving the must-pass spending bill to the Senate just shy of the Friday midnight deadline to fund the government.

The legislation includes language that would set up expedited consideration of a waiver needed for Mattis to serve as defense secretary in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration. The draft of the continuing resolution, released by House Republicans on Tuesday evening, came amid warnings from Democrats not to include waiver language in the spending bill.

Mattis, a retired four-star Marine general who is widely respected among lawmakers and military officials, needs the congressional waiver to serve in Trump’s cabinet because he has not been separated from the military for seven years.

The continuing resolution approved by the House would fund the government through April 28 and give the Senate Armed Services committee five days to take up the waiver after it is introduced, after which it would go to the Senate floor. The language included in the continuing resolution also would cap Senate floor debate on the waiver at 10 hours.

The waiver would still need to pass the Senate by a 60-vote threshold in order for Mattis to advance to hearings before the Senate Armed Services Committee.

If you listen closely you can hear the wails, cries, and screams of both radical jihadis and progressives across the world at the thought of an alpha male like Mad Dog Mattis leading the charge against our enemies.

Out of all of the fantastic picks Trump has made, this has to be one of the best and most exciting. For years now, we’ve watched Obama turn our nation into a cowardly laughing stock as we endure lone wolf attack after lone wolf attack, bowing down to our attackers and going out of our way to appease their religious beliefs.

It’s time for that to change, for us as a nation to get our spine back, and it looks like Trump and Mattis are going to do just that.
