Remember back in the day when Obama was in office and it was totally not cool at all to insult first lady Michelle Obama without incurring the wrath of the leftist media? Hacks from the entertainment industry would rally around her and chastise folks for bringing family into politics, calling it a low blow?
Well, those lovable loonies have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt they own the corner market on hypocrisy by coming out and trashing First Lady Melania Trump, because you know, living out your beliefs consistently is for suckers or something.
Allegedly funny comedian Chelsea Handler — the evidence of possessing any sort of talent is yet to be seen — decided to slam our first lady, claiming she barely speaks English.
Aside from being degrading, the comment is also inaccurate: Melania Trump speaks several languages fluently.
Fox News reported:
Chelsea Handler took a swipe at Melania Trump saying she wouldn’t interview the First Lady because “she can barely speak English.” Perhaps the comedian, who does not hold a college degree, should do her research first. The First Lady speaks at least five languages, including English, French, Italian, German, and Slovene. This isn’t the first time Handler, who must be quite jealous of Melania for whatever reason, has attacked the new first lady.
Trump said Melania will give two or three more speeches… Hopefully an interpreter will be present.

Tim Kaine delivered a speech entirely in Spanish. Still easier to understand than Melania.p

Sounds like he learned how to say China from Melania. #debate

Handler also told Variety she wouldn’t interview President Donald Trump for her Netflix show, even if he personally requested to be a guest.
“I don’t respect either one of those people,” she said.
You know, when you attack someone without any sort of clear provocation, it really begins to look a whole lot like envy.
Bottom line: it’s not cool to personally insult the first lady, whether or not you agree with her politics. It wasn’t cool to do so to Michelle Obama, and it’s not cool to do it to Melania Trump.
Wouldn’t it be nice to see liberals actually behaving like big boys and girls and creating coherent arguments for their policy positions instead of acting like kindergartners slinging schoolyard insults?
