A NRA commercial featuring The Blaze host Dana Loesch is being criticized for “inciting violence” among people who don’t know what the term “inciting violence” means.

Black Lives Matter leader DeRay McKesson (who is kinda like the black Shaun King) tweeted out a link to Loesch’s ad earlier today, captioning it “this NRA ad is an open call to violence to protect white supremacy. If I made a video like this, I’d be in jail.”

In a world where words are violence, and violence is “resistance,” the video below apparently falls into the former category:

Who knew a woman of Native American descent would be a champion for the cause of “protecting white supremacy”? It remains a mystery how McKesson gleaned this from Loesch’s comments made back in April that, apparently, he just noticed. Let’s review them:

• “The media assassinates real news” — Well, yeah. Just look at CNN.
• “Schools teach students that their president is the next Hitler.” — A bit hyperbolic, but let’s not pretend that universities are indoctrinating students with left-wing nonsense.
• “Hollywood has influence over the public narrative ” — Duh.
• “Protesters are bullying and terrorizing the law abiding” — Duh. Violence is exclusively from the side chanting “love Trumps hate” as they assault you.

It’s likely her final comment that triggered DeRay: “The only way we stop this, the only way we save our country and our freedom is to fight this violence of lies with the clenched fist of truth.” Normally when people say they want to resolve differences with facts instead of violence you get praised, but not in the world of DeRay and his followers.

It’s a safe bet they’re all “literally shaking” from the ad.

Anyway, if Loesch’s ad counts as “incitement,” then what do these comments from Black Lives Matter count as?

And what does it say when the women who founded BLM end all their meetings with a chant from convicted and escaped cop killer Assata Shakur?

If we’re going to play the incitement game, DeRay has much more to answer for.

The NRA’s rhetoric hasn’t inspired anyone to start gunning down police officers, or target Congressmen. It’s coming exclusively from the Left. In fact, that’s why it’s hardly surprising when a new analysis found “Since January of 2016 — the period in which the anti-Trump ‘resistance’ movement formed — Americans are fifty-one times more likely to be killed by a radical Islamic terrorist, and thirteen times more likely to be killed by a left-wing terrorist, than by a right-wing terrorist. That’s 51:1, and 13:1, respectively.”

As of writing, zero Americans have been injured by rogue Dana Loesch supporters.
