Who do you think would be more concerned with protecting American lives, Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad or the judges who make up the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals? Prior to these past few days the answer to the question would’ve been reasonably obvious, but now…?

In an interview released yesterday by Yahoo News the Syrian President said the obvious and made a point that conservatives have been trying to make for years and the Trump administration for (its first three) weeks - this isn’t about a religion; it’s about keeping our homeland and the American people safe.

Syrian president Bashar al-Assad told Michael Isikoff there’s no question some refugees are “definitely” terrorists in the interview.

“Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said some of the millions of refugees who have fled his country’s conflict are “terrorists,” in an interview published Friday.

Asked by Yahoo News about US President Donald Trump’s claim that extremists are hiding among refugees, Assad agreed, saying “you can find it on the net.”

“Those terrorists in Syria holding machine guns or killing people, they are peaceful refugees in Europe or in the West,” the Syrian leader said.”

He did not specify how many of the 4.8 million Syrian refugees he meant, saying “you don’t need a significant number to commit atrocities.” al-Assad also noted that the 9/11 attacks were pulled off by fewer than 20 terrorists “out of maybe millions of immigrants in the United States. So it’s not about the number, it’s about the quality, it’s about the intentions.”

This statement of fact is obvious to any and all people with an IQ higher than that of a field mouse however many of those with the ability to understand it refuse to admit it. Sadly, many of those are in our legislature and court system. Which brings us back to the 9th Circuit who a few days ago essentially ruled that foreign nationals have a constitutional right (though not constitutionally-protected citizens of this nation) to enter the United States, since that’s what federal courts do - interpret and rule on constitutionality.

So here we have the leader of a war-torn nation that’s infested with terrorists, that’s importing and exporting terrorists on a daily basis saying there is no question that terrorists pose as refugees in order to gain entrance into Western nations. On the other hand we have Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren and the rest of the multi-millionaire Democrat crowd plus very well-paid liberal federal judges saying if we don’t accept refugees we’re xenophobic bigots. They of course do not house any refugees personally and live lives in 8,000 square foot homes inside of gated communities largely immune from the effects of their own decisions. There are no refugee resettlements in their neighborhoods. It’s the rest of us who have to be more accepting.

The United States has seen the carnage across Europe. Bashar al-Assad is TELLING us this is happening. Yet liberal elites refuse to learn the lessons taught by history.
