Back in 2015, candidates, campaign officials and others of high status believed their email communications were private. Then along came Julian Assange and an outfit called WikiLeaks.

Assange has thrown more egg on the faces of Hillary Clinton and the operators in her State Department, Clinton Foundation and inner circle than anyone else on earth.

Now, the man has done it again.

While liberals are busy screaming “Russia, Russia, Russia,” “tampering, tampering, tampering,” and “collusion, collusion, collusion” — although with zero evidence to back the accusations — Assange has come forward with actual proof that there was indeed collusion in the last presidential election.

But just who was colluding with whom? One of the internet’s most tenacious figures, Milo Yiannopoulos, is on the job:

“WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange has tweeted out emails that show executives of Facebook directly communicating with Hillary Clinton’s campaign team.

The reminder that Facebook executives were communicating with Clinton comes as US lawmakers demand social media companies detail how their platforms were used by Russia to allegedly influence the 2016 election.

The emails that were tweeted are part of the WikiLeaks drop of Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, that the whistleblowing site originally released on October 7 last year.

As American media was speculating about Russian interference via social media on Thursday, Assange decided to remind everyone that the leaders of Facebook were actually fans of Clinton.

An email from January 2016 details a conversation between Podesta and Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg.

“Look forward to working with you to elect the first woman President of the United States,” Podesta wrote in the email. Sandberg replied by saying how she was “thrilled” by Clinton’s progress.

Podesta was also copied in an email from Clinton aide Cheryl Mills in February 2015. Mills detailed how she had arranged for Sandberg and her researcher to visit the office to “step through the research on gender and leadership by women.”

The Facebook COO also wrote to Podesta in June 2015, telling him how much she would “still want HRC to win badly.” “I am still here to help as I can. She came over and was magical with my kids,” Sandberg wrote in the email.

Even Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO and founder of Facebook, wrote to Podesta to tell him how much he enjoyed his company and he had “a lot to think about” after their conversation. Zuckerberg also thanked Podesta for sharing his thoughts with the Center for American Progress (CAP).

Elliot Schrage, the vice president of communications at Facebook, was also included in the email thread. Schrage told Podesta that although Zuckerberg “can be a demanding and inquisitive student, and he was both impressed and grateful for your time and candor.”

“He’s begun a challenging journey to direct his wealth to have an impact as great as Facebook and your ideas and perspectives really moved his thinking. I know he was focused on the kinds of structures he should put together, but now I suspect he’ll be paying more attention to the types of people he needs — policy entrepreneurs and strategists — as he thinks about next steps,” he wrote.

“Any and all suggestions are welcome among folks you know or have worked with. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there are things we can do to be helpful in you and your work — whether at CAP or elsewhere.”

Zuckerberg also asked to keep in contact with Podesta and assured that he was looking forward to continuing their conversation. “I hope it’s okay if I reach out as my thinking develops to get your ideas and reactions,” he said. “If there are any other folks you think I should talk to, please let me know.”

Social media users began using the hashtag #FaceBookLeaks in an attempt to bring attention to the hypocrisy of the Democrats as they try in vain to link those pesky Russians with President Trump.“

So the Facebook COO badly wanted Hillary to win — and was thrilled with how “magical” Hillary was with her kids when the presidential candidate “came over?”

And this is an outfit having a fit about media integrity and interference in an election?

Damn you, Al Gore, for this internet you’ve invented — and that pesky ‘ole email thingy!
