It seems as if the NFL just simply isn’t going to learn its lesson, even after losing tons of viewers over players in the league continuing to disrespect our nation, our flag, our liberty, and our veterans by taking a knee during the national anthem.

“Sunday Night Football” took a serious hit in the ratings department as a result of these “woke” crusaders for equality who basically spit in the face of all the brave souls who gave it all to protect their rights and provide them with opportunities to make an obscene amount of money playing a game.

I mean, no one is honestly against them protesting, as that’s every American’s right. We don’t have to agree with your cause to uphold your right to protest and air grievances. However, there’s a right way and wrong way to go about raising awareness for your cause.

Disrespecting the flag and national anthem is the wrong way.

A linebacker for the Denver Broncos is learning that lesson first hand, as he’s already lost a big corporate sponsorship due to taking a knee during Sunday’s game. Maybe if they get hit in the wallet they’ll learn to find a different time to play social justice warrior?

Per The Blaze, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller lost a corporate advertising endorsement after kneeling during the national anthem on Sunday, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette.

Miller was previously featured in ads from Phil Long Dealerships, a group of car dealerships in the Colorado Springs area. The company requested Colorado Springs NBC affiliate KOAA and Denver NBC affiliate 9News stop airing ads featuring Miller.

The Gazette reports that an employee at the company confirmed they had dropped Miller’s endorsement.

After Sunday’s game, Miller said he and his teammates took a knee during the national anthem because they “felt like they had to do something.”

“We felt like President Trump’s speech was an assault on our most cherished right, freedom of speech,” Miller told reporters. “At this time we felt like, as a team, we had to do something. We couldn’t just let things go.”

Players across the NFL kneeled and locked arms during the playing of the national anthem in response to President Trump’s criticism of athletes who don’t stand for the anthem.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b—- off the field right now,'” Trump said at a rally in Alabama for Alabama Senate candidate Luther Strange (R) on Friday. “‘He is fired.'”

I sincerely hope that more and more sponsors get tired of the negativity drummed up by these “protests” and yank their money out from these players and teams to make the message super clear, because it doesn’t seem as if it’s being spoken in a language they understand.

Everyone understands money, the bottom line, so perhaps that will help things sink in.

Teams are definitely going to be losing money as advertisers likely pull out or change rates due to the dramatic hemorrhaging happening in the ratings. There will be a price to pay for not heeding the voice of the viewers: that much is guaranteed.

Protest all you want, but don’t insult the honor, integrity, and legacy left behind by those who served valiantly to preserve our freedom. That’s just wrong.
