We’d say that Linda Sarsour’s comments on North Korea should destroy any credibility she was perceived to have, although if her public support of Sharia Law hasn’t done that already (at least among her liberal fans), it’s unlikely anything will.
There have been a number of useful idiots who have somehow thought that Kim Jong-un is the rational one as tensions with North Korea have risen, and among them is Sarsour. Despite the labor camps, political repression, work camps, lack of religious freedom, and human rights violations that a United Nations report described as “resembling those committed by the Nazis,” Sarsour doesn’t see any problem there.After all, if things were so bad, they’d just leave!

After being mocked for a full twelve hours, she tried to play off her idiotic comment into an anti-Trump lesson — because he just added North Korea (and Venezuela) to the revised list of countries on his “travel ban.”

A ban on U.S. passport holders traveling to North Korea took effect on September 1. The ban was put in place due to the risk of “long-term detention” there. Adding North Korea to the revised list of countries where citizens are banned from entering the U.S. is more symbolic than anything.
Sarsour’s thesis, meanwhile, is that Trump added North Korea and Venezuela to the list of banned countries so he could claim that his travel ban isn’t a Muslim ban. Of course, if Trump’s goal was to ban only Muslims from entering the U.S., his list would include much more than Chad, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen.
If Trump really wanted to ban Muslims from the U.S., he’d go after Indonesia and its 210 million Muslims, India and its 176 million Muslims, Pakistan and its 167 million Muslims, Bangladesh and its 134 million Muslims, and others.
The only country on the travel ban list that’s ranked within the top 10 countries by Muslim population is Iran — and there’s an obvious political reason for including them on the list.
