Former CIA agent posts incindiary tweets blaming Jews for America’s wars

The last time we reported on former undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson, it was to cover her GoFundMe campaign which had the ambitious goal of raising $1 billion so she could “buy Twitter” in order to ban President Donald Trump from using the platform. Anyone doing a few minutes of research would quickly discover that $1 billion is nowhere near enough money to actually purchase Twitter, which is valued at roughly $13 billion as of this writing.

She’s back in the spotlight again, this time after posting a link to a piece accusing American Jews of being the main force behind the country’s wars.

The article claims that “for those American Jews who lack and shred of integrity, the media should be required to label them at the bottom of the television screen whenever they pop up, e.g. Bill Kristol is ‘Jewish and an outspoken supporter of the state of Israel.’ That would be kind-of-like a warning label on a bottle of rat poison.”

Well, that’s one message to spread on Rosh Hashanah!

As you’d expect, she quickly received backlash for the post (including some from her own fan base), and in response claimed that “re-tweets don’t imply endorsements,” but that people should at least read the article. It’s a bit worrisome that the woman who wants to buy Twitter isn’t aware that her post wasn’t a re-tweet.

After encouraging others to read the article (and receiving more criticism as a result, given the contents), she then tried to pretend that it was actually her who didn’t bother to read the article.

Her excuses are a bit less convincing when you go through her Twitter timeline however:

She concluded her apology by saying she made a mistake. Comedian David Angelo had the perfect response to that:

And, thank God she’s not in charge of Twitter either.
