Weiner’s DONE

Earlier today we reported on a confrontation between conservative journalist Laura Loomer and Hillary Clinton at the failed Presidential canaidate’s book signing in Manhattan yesterday. After being escorted away from Hillary, Loomer spotted Huma Abedin, who she asked “When are you going to divorce your husband (Anthony Weiner) for texting underage girls?”

Apparently quite soon, because just one day later, the two are headed to divorce court.

According to the New York Post, Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner both showed up to a Manhattan courthouse Wednesday to go before a divorce judge.

Abedin, the longtime close aide to Hillary Clinton, arrived at 2:05 p.m., wearing a trim black suit and high black pumps, carrying a white handbag. She was with her lawyer and only offered a polite, “Hi” to reporters.

Thirty seconds later, Weiner arrived with his lawyer. The disgraced former congressman from Queens wore black slacks, blue-grey blazer, brown shoes.

“I have no comment at all,” he said as he posed for photographers.

“Got what you need? I’d hate for you guys to run backwards. Too many accidents that way. You know you’re close enough to sue me.”

Feeling OK, Anthony? The Post asked.

“Thank you, yes. Bless you guys.”

Abedin’s lawyers filed the divorce papers, captioned “Anonymous vs. Anonymous,” in Manhattan Supreme Court just hours after a weepy Weiner walked into nearby federal court — still wearing his wedding ring — and pleaded guilty May 19 to sexting with a North Carolina teenager.

He will be sentenced on that plea later this month.

By the way, this is the fifteen-year-old that Weiner was caught sexting:

It’s unclear whether or not Huma would even be divorcing the man if it weren’t for the legal charges he’s facing. The 2016 documentary “Weiner” cataloged the man’s fall from grace, and attempts at getting back on his fear, only to be derailed by his second sexting scandal (the one mentioned above being his third). The cameras were rolling when the news broke - and Huma’s immediate reaction is practically robotic. “What’s your press statement going to be?” she asks him, as if it was nothing more than a political hurdle to cross.

Aside from the criminal charges, perhaps the third sexting scandal that led to FBI agents finding information on his computer that led them to re-open the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server 11 days before the election was also the straw that broke the camel’s back. As someone rather crudely joked, Weiner attempted to screw a fifteen-year-old - but ended up screwing a 69-year-old.
