Obama left Democrats one HUGE gift before leaving office

It seems President Obama left a nice gift behind for fellow Democrats who would remain in office long after he vacated the White House.

During his time in the Oval Office, 200,000 deportation cases were “administratively closed” with zero action taken, which basically means there were thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants who got off the hook, scot free and were allowed to stay here in the States.

Why call this a gift? Because it’s highly probable a large number of these individuals will be voting Democrat in upcoming elections.

The Washington Examiner is reporting that,

When added to those cases still pending court action, it brings the backlog of cases to about 800,000, far more than previously known.

In the report for the Center for Immigration Studies, former immigration judge Andrew R. Arthur said that there are some 100,000 cases that were closed, but told Secrets that it could be as high as 200,000.

“My back-of-the-envelope calculations suggest at least 100,000 more are possible, for 200,000 on top of the 600,000 we currently have,” said Arthur.

In his report, he said the exact number isn’t known. “I believe that the Obama administration’s use of the practice may have ‘cooked the books’ as it relates to the true number of cases that are pending adjudication before the immigration courts.”

The Trump administration has taken action to reverse the practice of letting authorities close the cases and is working to reschedule them, he added.

These sort of shenanigans are precisely what got Donald Trump elected president in the first place, in case leftists were still scratching their heads, baffled that such a phenomenon occurred.

We’re supposed to be a nation of laws and, when a group of people undermines those laws and pays no consequences for it, it sends the message that such action is acceptable here.

Allowing illegals to roam free will put American citizens in danger and enable the abuse of our welfare system, placing a heavy burden on taxpayers.

Trump will most likely continue to crack down on this sort of thing, which will not only improve conditions, but will no doubt make him even more popular with his base.
