Not a joke: State could start jailing people for using the wrong PRONOUNS

I dunno folks, it may be time to certainly build the wall, but not along the border with Mexico, but perhaps the one with California. There’s a secession movement in the Golden State, and quite frankly I bet there are some who would gladly say adios. We’ve shared here many a disturbing story about California, the sanctuary cities — heck, the entire state. You have the most radical leftists emanating from the state. But what is amazing is that if you go into the agricultural valleys and rural areas, you’ll find salt of the earth conservatives. Sadly, it’s the urban concentrations and places like Silicon Valley where progressive socialist ideology dominates the state. And now, here’s the latest insanity from the state that once gave us Presidents Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan.

As reported by the Daily Caller, “A bill that passed the California state senate and is now moving through the Assembly could threaten jail time for anyone who refuses to use a transgender person’s preferred pronoun.

The law is currently limited in its effects to nursing homes and intermediate-care facilities, but if passed, those who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns” could be slapped with a $1,000 fine and up to one year in prison, according to the California Heath and Safety code.

The state senate passed the bill 26-12 at the end of May. Since then, the Assembly Judiciary committee recommended the bill unanimously and the General Assembly held its first hearing on the legislation Wednesday.

“How can you believe in free speech, but think the government can compel people to use certain pronouns when talking to others?” Greg Burt of the California Family Council testified in July. “This is not tolerance. This is not love. This is not mutual respect. True tolerance tolerates people with different views. We need to treat each other with respect, but respect is a two-way street. It is not respectful to threaten people with punishment for having sincerely held beliefs that differ from your own.”

Titled the “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Long-Term Care Facility Residents Bill of Rights,” the legislation also requires nursing homes and care facilities to allow residents to use the bathroom of their choice, regardless of biological sex. The bill’s author, state Sen. Scott Weiner, argues that religious views don’t hold weight in public areas. “Everyone is entitled to their religious view,” Weiner said. “But when you enter the public space, when you are running an institution, you are in a workplace, you are in a civil setting, and you have to follow the law.”

Doggone, another Weiner, this time on the left coast, but the ideas are just as whacky. So, ask yourself this seminal question: what about the already existing Constitutional Bill of Rights? The very first one is freedom of religion, so in essence what State Sen. Weiner is saying is we don’t care about the Constitutional Bill of Rights. We here in California will determine who has rights and you no longer have a religious freedom, you have a specified freedom of worship, and we shall define where that occurs.

So, get this, what Weiner is saying is that if Bob decides to be Bobbette, and you call him Bob, Bob can report you and you’ll go to jail. Now this legislation refers to “long-term care facility residents,” but we all know the theory of establishing precedent. Everyone else in that long-term care facility loses their rights because Weiner has created a new set of rights, rights based on sexuality…behavior. And who are the folks determining which is the acceptable behavior? It seems to be this is the objective of the oh-so-very intolerant progressive socialist left.

So, they’re restricting another Constitutional right, the freedom of speech. Heck, it appears they don’t believe we even possess the freedom of our own conscience unless they approve of our speech and thoughts. And this is the type of mentality being exported out all over the United States from California, flooding other states. Ask the folks in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Montana, Washington state…and even coming to us here in Texas. And consider as well, in California they don’t believe the law abiding legal American has any right to the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights — the right to keep and bear arms.

This is what totalitarianism – tyranny — looks like. And why do we want to welcome that into our society, or why allow it to expand outside of California? When I hear folks on the left talk about tolerance, I laugh. When you hear a group like Antifa say they’re anti-fascism, I laugh.

But the time is coming when we must stop appeasing these chuckleheads and start to push back, or else. State Sen. Weiner, it’s not up to you to determine that I’m “entitled” to my religious view. I am endowed by my Creator with my unalienable rights and they’re not for you to restrict or confine. Who the hell are you to tell me that when I enter a public space or elsewhere that my Constitutional Bill of Rights cease to exist, and then I’m under YOUR interpretation of “the law?” You don’t get to make laws based on your ideological agenda and desire to advance certain behavior.

If you don’t respect and honor our Constitutional Bill of Rights, then we shall not surrender, succumb, nor acquiesce to your ill-conceived totalitarian views and designs. And to those citizens of the state of California who love liberty and freedom, why do you stay there on this progressive socialist fascist Titanic? Leave. And to those who do leave, leave that mentality and ideology there and stop being the locusts who are destroying the fertile grounds of liberty in other states.

If there are leftist political candidates receiving massive amounts of campaign funding from the liberal progressive machine of California, vote against them…just like with John Ossoff in Georgia. We don’t need California trying to make America like it.

Earlier this year in January, radio host Dennis Prager talked about the impending ideological civil war in America. It’s not Republican against Democrat, but places the progressive socialist left against this nation. And if you believe California State Senator Scott Weiner, and those supporting this agenda such as Colorado multi-millionaire Tim Gill, are on the right side…well, simply stated, you got a fight coming.
