Sadly, it’s not shocking Keith Olbermann just called someone a “mother****er” — it’s WHO that’s blowing minds

There was a time, believe it or not, when people discussed differences in political opinions like adults. Sadly, those days seem like an all too distant memory. Today, having a disagreement with a liberal is more likely to get you labeled a Nazi, racist, or white supremacist. Gone are the days of a logical counter-argument; we’ve entered the era of profane name calling.

Sadly, this trend isn’t just confined to the dark corners of the internet. Prominent public figures have joined in the chorus of insults. Considering this was the campaign marked by one candidate labeling half the country deplorable, maybe none of this is surprising anymore. However, what liberal pundit Keith Olbermann tweeted out to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos may represent a new low.

Where’s the feminist outrage? Oh right. They only care about liberal women.

From Bizpac Review:

In her role as U.S. Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos naturally expressed support and concern for those affected by Hurricane Harvey on Saturday afternoon.

If you thought in the wake of a national disaster such a statement could ever stand alone, devoid of politics, you’d be mistaken – at least if you were referring to vile #Resistance leading leftists like Keith Olbermann, whose disgusting response to DeVos would have gotten anyone a feather’s right of center kicked off Twitter.

Thankfully, Olbermann received the backlash he deserved from Twitter users:

Unfortunately, outbursts like this have become commonplace for Olbermann. Scrolling through his Twitter account, you can’t help bust notice its vile and offensive content. Despite this, liberal publications like GQ believe the washed up media pundit is still deserving of a platform at their organization.

To be sure, the days of mature political discourse are long gone. To be fair, candidate Donald Trump shattered that ceiling (or floor, depending on how you look at it). But it’s just sad that the “new normal” has become some profane and vile.
