Alice Herz-Sommer, oldest known Holocaust survivor dies at 110

Alice Herz-Sommer was a musician and loving mother — truly an extraordinary woman, who lived through unspeakable horror with grace and faith. She said “I was born Jewish, but my religion is Beethoven.” May she rest in peace and fill heaven with her music.

    God I pray we will not have to endure what this fine lady has had to endure, living through the holocaust. If Obama has his way we are all headed in that direction. Being a Christian, I feel he hates Christians, as much as Hitler hated the Jews.

This lady survived something unimaginable….your petty ‘prayer/opinion’, is a slap in the face to this woman! She’s got more strength than you ever will because chances are, she never complained about her life/ or government, etc. She literally lived through hell & embraced life, not blame it on some else or claim she’s being ‘led down a bad path’ by the president! Give this lady the respect she deserves! Quite your complaining about your so ‘awful’ life. Chances are you never had to hide in a outhouse toilet to avoid Hilter, or Obama. You are a selfish person.

        Brendan, you are dilusional. Obama has been duplicating images from Hitler but inserting himself into them. He is very much doing the same things that Hitler did and if you don’t believe it then maybe you will when he starts rounding people up. By his own executive order he has stated that he can and will do that.

      He does hate christians, patriots like people who support the tea party. Just look at what he has the IRS doing. And NEVER, NEVER forget his 2008 speech, “America is no longer a CHRISTIAN NATION” That says it all plus look at the number of Muslims who has ties to the muslim brotherhood in offices in the white house that they should not be in because Muslims are our new enemy. And it doesnt take much to know that. Look at England, france, sweden and norway where rape is common and at the highest levels ever, close to 70%.
      Because he is muslim, he can lie as long as he is in a jihad, which his is against Christians, Jews and Patriots to America.

      Roger, I don’t think for ONE SECOND that the entire country of Germany didn’t know what was going on…Common sense should tell everyone, if something of THAT magnitude was going on in America, we’d ALL know about it….I don’t buy that comment for a milli-sec…and you shouldn’t either!!

        Well then you don’t have family that grew up in Germany during that time. I do and I can tell you that many people did not know what was gong on and seriously you need to get your head out of the sand. There are many people who are blind to what is gong on here as well

      Roger, while you may be correct in some small pockets in some rural areas, but those that were close to the camps claimed the same thing. Soldiers smelled the stench miles from the camps, civilians knew people were sent via trains, but none left. Even at that, I never have found a rural town that rumors of such didnt reach. I know you want to protect your pride, but it was your ancestors who were responsible, not you. The men that tried to kill hitler, took years of propaganda to realize that they were the real hero’s of germany. One of the children made general in the new german army and was still considered a traitor by many. These are facts. Its like when I found out my ancestors owned slaves, it doesnt make me responsible, neither does it make you responsible. What we must do is not to make the same mistakes, and OBAMA is a MISTAKE.

    There are holocaust survivors who point out the amazing similarities between how Hitler sneaked up on the German people and how Obama is doing very similar things.Open your eyes. I have also read things people sent me where I thought they were describing Hitler and then at the end they said it was Obama. Very Scary!!

This short story is about Alice yes but - Wow-who-would-think was trying to tell you about a very well known piece that has a long list of items/issues/laws/manuevers which while reading it anyone that knows anything about history thinks it’s talking about Hitler but it really is talking about all the items/issues/laws/manuevers that Oboob had done. Fact and verifiable. Alice is a holocaust survivor there is no lack of sensitivity about it. Don’t you think Alice having experienced that horror would want others to be warned? Denying and keeping their heads in the sand is part of the reason Hitler was able to gain control. WAKE UP there is no time to be timid about sensitivity, we are about to lose our freedoms and our country. In honor of Alice I say do your research and stand up for our country and fight like hell. That would be an honor to Alice.

      Brendan I think you should read history and current historical facts about Obama. One he is a Marxist and a Muslim. Muslims admired HItler. Two plus two equals four, so therefore go and seek the similarities now you have more information on obama. Obama has had many people killed by lack of action, add them all up, you have a mass killing. Obama had many of the PRO GUN activist killed, all mysteriously, one killed, per them a car wreck, when it was an actual explosion. Motor was found 100ft away from the car. These are no coincidences. Please educate yourself further.
