The rats are jumping back on: Podesta joins Obama’s team

The ship of state is taking on water, so instead of casting off extra weight and baggage, Obama has radioed for help to bring on even more extra weight and baggage.

According to Phillip Rucker of the Washington Post,

John D. Podesta, who was chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and is one of the Democratic Party’s most experienced strategists, is joining the White House to help President Obama salvage what has become a difficult second term.

Podesta is the guy who helped guide then-President Bill Clinton through the tumultuous waters of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Now he’s being summoned to be the “clean-up hitter” for the Obama administration. What I find absolutely appalling is that with all the lies, deceit, failures, and abject incompetence, not a doggone member of Obama’s cabinet has been fired, but instead they’re hiring more people – that’s sure to improve those job numbers.

Rucker also says:

Obama also has recruited Phil Schiliro, the legislative affairs director during the president’s first term and a veteran congressional operative, to return to the White House and spearhead health-care issues.

Obviously the Clinton political machine recognizes the high level of toxicity the Obama administration is infusing into the Democrat party. They certainly realize if Hillary decides to run, having the baggage and memory of the sinking of the USS Obama will not bode well for her chances. The sad thing is this move is all about politics, not policy.

This obvious act of desperation is about style, image and not about protecting the livelihood of the hard working American — just about saving the legacy of Barack Obama and the party of the jackass. John Podesta is just another progressive socialist hack who was President of the Center for American Progress, a rather oxymoronic title considering how progressive policies retard economic growth.

Podesta has been informally advising Hillary Clinton and was helping Priorities USA Action, a super PAC that supported Obama’s reelection and would most likely back Clinton if she runs in 2016. In other words, Podesta is the advance guard whose mission it is to clear the way for the “heiress-apparent.” Well, hate to tell ya ol’ Johnny boy, but we sure look forward to spoiling your plans.

    Yea I thought people were waking up to Obama in 2998 and 2012 and look what happened. Truth is the left has succeeded in creating critical mass with the dependent class, and I doubt you will wake them up. I’ve always been an optimist since Reagan but I am afraid this country has has a short memory and has really lost it’s way. Too many young people who have ceased being taught who we are and dependent people who will never vote out their handouts.

  What I’m going to say, I want you to know I don’t mean to offend you in any way. I understand your feelings but a lot of us out here are trying to make a huge difference in 2014. This type of speech will only chase off people instead of having them stick with us. It just makes us look like a bunch of racists and radicals. Please don’t take that wrong. I’ve been posting over and over again on different postings of Mr. West that in 2014 we need to give Washington a message. The message being,,,,sorry Democrat Senators,,,,you didn’t listen to us so now you lose your seat. And that message also loud and clear to those that we vote into those seats…IF YOU LIKE YOU SEAT…..YOU ALSO CAN LOSE YOUR SEAT….PERIOD!!! That is going to be my motto. Time to shake of Washington. Democrats go,,,,Republicans in…..maybe then we can get some action on getting Holder impeached. And a few others along with him. I believe it’s a little too late. We Americans have had enough. A lot of you mentioned the media. We the public have the power and we don’t use it. There’s a couple of far to the left media who only lies anyway that probably won’t change BUT the others we can get to. We’ve been sending letters to Washington and we’ve been calling our Representatives. Now it’s time to hit the media. Hold them responsible for reporting the news and not the lies. We the public can hit them where it hurts. Their ratings and their sponsors. You find a news media being unfair in their reporting or lying,,,,write them and write their sponsors. Sponsors getting a ton of letters that we will not buy their products unless the media starts reporting the truth,,,you would be surprised how fast that changes. Anybody remember a few months ago when some “way to the left” news media started crying and having Fox News investigated because they couldn’t understand how their ratings jumped higher than theirs. It’s because Fox News tells it like it is. Also CBS who was all for Obamacare and was going to do a special on it but then the website crashed and millions of people lost their insurance. That got cancelled fast. They are now reporting what is really going on with Obamacare and not sugar coating it. This movement bring in Phil Schiliro is all political. And I agree it’s only to pave the way for Hillary. I may be a woman But I will not vote for her. I still have that picture in my mind when she threw up her hands and screamed “what does it matter”.
