Obamacare lie #2: can’t keep your doctor either

Good Monday morning America, and the day greets us to find yet another lie from President Obama: you don’t get to keep your doctor either.

It seems UnitedHealth sent out letters across some 10 states dropping doctors from their Medicare Advantage plans. As you recall, I live in South Florida and expressed my concern about Obamacare cuts to Medicare, but of course the scare tactics of the Left and their complicit media suppressed the truth.

When I carefully articulated the coming cuts to Medicare providers as part of this behemoth legislation, it mostly fell upon deaf ears. Instead, I and other conservatives was demonized as being the ones destroying Medicare. Remember the tv ad portraying a Rep. Paul Ryan lookalike pushing an elderly woman off a cliff? Seems the wrong image was used for the “pusher.”

The amazing thing is that Americans — and seniors here in South Florida — refused the truth in exchange for being told happy things. I predict that by the end of the week, The Great Obama will just come out and wave his hand again and put the doctors back.

However, it’s just not that easy unless he restores the billions of dollars HE cut from Medicare Advantage, or maybe he views Medicare Advantage as a junk plan too?

So, where are all those Democrat representatives? What are they going to tell you now? Everyone is talking about the 39 Democrats who voted with the Republicans in the House of Representatives last Friday — trust me, this was just for political cover.

They were given permission from Mama Pelosi, playing Nurse Betty, and know that the bill will just join the stack of bills sitting on Harry Reid’s floor. At some point America must awaken and realize that the Democrat party is the home of progressive socialists and liars. The Republicans are fighting for this country, for the freedom and opportunity of every American. They are not as silver-tongued but as least they’re not lying. Their concern is genuine, as opposed to the feigned deceit of those who don’t believe you’re capable of deciding anything for yourself.

    True Allen, but we both know that Obama has no authority or power to change Federal Law. Where are our elected representatives and why have they not started impeachment proceedings?

      Obama knows he has no authority to do half the things he does. That’s why “Executive Order” is his favorite power. Impeachment didn’t work in the case of President Slickwilly, and it won’t work now for the same reason. Liberals have enough control of Congress to protect Oilybama at least until 2014. We can only hope. But then, he’s also stacked the Supreme Court. Sigh.

    Why has congress not acted to rein this out of control politician in the Oval office? I call my Senators and Congressman daily, They are all Republicans and they all give me the same line “You can control him when you vote”. Except they forget, Obama is not running again, so we the people, do not get to control Obama, short of open rebellion. So it falls to Congress to do their job and actually represent us. If they are unwilling to do so, then it is time to hold them accountable at the ballot box. As for myself, I am not so enamored with myself that I expect to change the world with my vote, but given the current state of affairs, I may wind up going to the ballot box and writing in a candidate for every office and the same name will go for all, that name is “None Of The Above.”

      I wonder why too. It’s out of control. If the TEA party coalitions were able to raise funds, promote their ideas and get their 501c4 status, we would have more leverage to combating this president. And that’s an intentional lower case p. The media and the TEA Party opponents are doing a Saul Alinsky on us and we have no way to push against this force, just check the media over the weekend. But we can’t give up. Don’t vote “none of the Above”, vote the best person and keep their “feet to the fire”.

    Obamacare has alienated thousands of doctors. It’s widened the gap of the rich and the poor even more in terms of quality of service, another lie of the plan - that the uninsured will have access to good doctors and hospitals. A Dr. or hospital with a good reputation does not need Obamacare.

    We’ll be seeing “Patch Adams” type clinics pop up everywhere because the doctors won’t want to take orders from Obama’s corrupt Affordable Healthcare regulations…and would rather except payment directly from the patient…rather than getting a pintence for there services…I’ll be the First in line to support them !!!

    All of these DEMOCRATS are all up for reelection in 2014…and they had permission to vote with the REPUBLICANS to try to save their place at the public trough!

    The DEMOCRATIC SENATE and the PRESIDENT won’t vote for the fix…so it was dead before the vote was taken.

    Unfortunately the REPUBLICANS were stupid enough to vote on it and let OBAMA and the DEMOCRATS off the hook!

    full 44 percent of physicians say they aren’t participating in ObamaCare

Didn’t everyone realize that if you have a bunch of morons in Washington that first have never run CMS the right way , nor run a medical business, been a doctor, joined the AMA, owned a medical billing business or even know how our programs work in the first place, well then gee who did not seem this coming. Idiots - first the idea of pre-existing to be insured was awesome, now they have touched home on many other people and policies, and now all of you that thought Washington was your saving grace and voted for these morons, well good luck.     I sure hope they get rid of Obamacare, but in reality I think what will happen is the government will spend more and more and even more money to try and fix it, before they abandon this disastrous piece of legislature.
