Obama says he’s practically a killing machine

According to a story by Michael Kelly of the Business Insider, it seems President Obama regards himself as one tough hombre. Reminds me of another liberal progressive president involved in a low- to mid-intensity war — Lyndon B. Johnson.

Of course you might think it’s something the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize winner wouldn’t want to brag about. But according to the new book Double Down in which journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann chronicle the 2012 presidential election, Obama told his aides he’s “really good at killing people” while discussing drone strikes. Why, he’s simply the definition of bravery and courage. Just as President Johnson personally approved bombing strikes during the Vietnam War, President Obama is also having fun playing “Call of Duty.”

According to the Business Insider:

Obama oversaw the 2009 surge in Afghanistan, 145 Predator drone strikes in NATO’s 2011 Libya operations, the May 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden, and drone strikes that killed the Pakistani Taliban leader and a senior member of the Somali-based militant group al-Shabab this week.

His administration also expanded the drone war: There have been 326 drone strikes in Pakistan, 93 in Yemen, and several in Somalia under Obama — upwards of 4,500 people overall killed — compared to a total of 52 strikes under George Bush.

So now we have it. Not only does President Obama believe he knows what’s best for your healthcare plans, he also doesn’t need those 197 senior military officers he just axed. Why, he can kill people directly from the White House! He’s a one-man wrecking machine — and we’re not even talking about the economy.

The incredible irony here is that a man who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in his first year in office is likely to “go down in history as the president who legitimized and systemized a process by which the United States asserts the right to conduct assassination operations around the world,” according to investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill.

Folks, you just cannot make this stuff up!

  Are you sure he has white in him? I want to know why the pics of him with his grandparents are photoshopped. Either that or they have some very strange body parts. In one his grandmother has a black arm from mid forearm to hand. The black hand is also larger than her white hand. HUMMM. Then the pic where he is between them on the bench. The grandfathers arm is at a wild angle. He would have to have his elbow joint just below his shoulder. If they are his grandparents, why the photoshooting. They were Communists.   The question is not how many wars have other Presidents done. The question is how many Presidents have turned the laws against the people of the USA. How many have grown an army within the US borders, using not only gang members but foreign mercenaries. What President has taken so many of our rights away. And what President ever said America is not a Christian nation, but will be a Muslim country by 2016. What American President has ever punished the vets to cause them pain and heartache. Which President ever aided and abetted the enemies of our nation (giving weapons and support to Al Qaeda in Syria) That is an impeachable offense, but Obama wrote a law saying he ccan not be punished for it. BTW the Congress was at fault for many of our problems, while the Dems were in control. The Repubs are now over the House, but between the Senate and the Pres and the Supreme Court that are all Dems heavy, the Repubs have no power. How you can blame them for the Obama o’blunders, is ridiculous. The Dems are just very good at spin. When asked who was responsible for the gov shutdown, Bush or Obama, 9 out of 10 people said Bush. That is the typical no info Dem voter.

      Actually Hitler Served in WW1 as a Corporal so I would not compare the two. As for my IQ I have been featured in 2 National Magazines for my Computer designs, I’m a CIO of a Hedge Fund Co., also a Ship Captain, a small business owner and a certified Mechanic (just because) and all with the IQ of 146. Nothing compared to Steven Hawkins but I don’t agree with his hypothesis anyway. I also found Dr. Suess to be trite and annoying as a small child. (I personally loved Oedipus the King, and the Iliad along with the Hobbit and Pilgrims Progress as a grade school-er.)
      Now personally I’m not here to attack you or any other Freedom Loving American, but I do not agree with the “status quo” of the current administration. Maybe I see policies from a jaundice eye due to my background. But even common sense would dictate that something is severely wrong. Notice that Mr. West did not cite the relevant section of the Double Down book to share EXACTLY what President Obama said. We’re supposed to take West’s word for it that Halperin and Heilemann quoted a known, credible source that President Obama said what he is alleged to have said-in context.

I seem to remember his response to a question about military service and he said he considered joining but by that time VN was over so he didn’t. HUH?
