After enduring months of scandals, lies, and ineptitude, there can be no doubt America is at a crossroads. We must all decide whether the rule of law is still applicable in this Republic or shall we drift into becoming a progressive socialist dictatorship.

I know where I stand. The question is, will our elected officials have the courage to stand as well?

Watching the apparently mindless lemmings show up and cheer on an individual who has lied and deceived an entire nation on its most personal decision, healthcare, is just unconscionable. They are allowing their own freedom and liberty to slip through their fingers.

To still hear the countless droning of those who will make every excuse for what is blatantly a collapse of integrity and competence is simply astonishing.

President Obama lied to Americans about keeping their healthcare coverage while implementing mandates that made those plans non-compliant. The President then lectured the American people that these plans were not up to his standard, referring to them as junk.

The level of discord rose, even among his party, and therefore the president decides to implement “enforcement discretion” and just says, “never mind” — completely politically-driven.

But when a legislative resolution is passed to give coverage back to Americans, the arrogant imperial ruler issues his veto threat. In essence, there will be no dissent to his will, so what kind of America do we live in?

And it seems that when pressured, the same ol’ race baiting surfaces — consider Oprah Winfrey’s comments to the BBC, “There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.”

As I’ve said before, I will not sacrifice my country for some faux historic moment. This is not about the color of his skin, it’s about the empty content of his character. President Barack Obama constantly shows himself to be a disgrace to America and a clear and present danger to our Republic.

He’s in a no win situation. He passes what the House drew up and it’s like he admitted defeat. He vetoes it and it will be admitting to the American People,,,he lied again yesterday. But him vetoing it will turn a lot more Democrats against him. Who is he going to have left? Pelosi and Reid. And once again in his speech yesterday he said nobody made him aware that the website wasn’t ready to go. How many times does that make it that he has referred to not knowing something he should have? And as far as those that say it’s racial,,, BS. I don’t care if we have a black, white, green, pink and whatever color as a President as long as he or she can do the job. Right now this country really doesn’t even have a president as far as I’m concerned.

Who’s legally responsible in the gov for stopping all these unconstitutional presidential decisions on which laws or what parts of them to impose or disobey? Congress ? The Department of Justice? The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court?
Shouldn’t the Department of Justice and the IRS be independent ? Answering only to Congress?

  The form a House Judiciary Committee to review and go over the articles for impeachment. Then it is turned over the the full House to review and vote on. The vote on each separate articles for impeachment. There can be several articles to vote on but it only take one article to be voted for impeachment. He’s impeached. BUT…..
  Then the House turns this over to the Senate to have a trial. If the Senate votes and finds him guilty then he is gone. They also have to the power to say he can never run for any elective office again. That’s how it goes.
  Now why haven’t they done this before??? They need a darn good case to get him on since, up until now, the Democrats controlled the Senate and finding him guilty just won’t happen. Benghazi would be a good one to put him to trial on but the Republicans that are trying to get answers on it are not allowed to talk to any of the witnesses by orders of the White House.
  Things maybe turning a little now because before, Obama had the loyalty of all the Democrat Senators,,,but now their seats are being threatened. And we all know their loyalty is to their seats and will drop Obama. Except maybe Reid and Pelosi.

And after Ted made the offer for Congress to offer 5 million to any one that would come clear about Benghazi and Reid objects to all of this I feel Reid should be look at real close and impeached and charged him self.     I so agree with you. Like I said above “Except maybe Reid and Pelosi”, they won’t desert him. Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution says, “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” Benghazi would pretty much fall into one or two of those categories.

What I didn’t say in my last comment is the fact that now the insurance companies are not too happy with him and I’m sure their lawyers are checking into suing Obama or the government. Even if he vetoes what is given him or not,,,this isn’t over and may still end up back into the Supreme Courts lap. Forty years from now he won’t be remembered as the First African American President but the one who broke so many things in our constitution and destroyed our health system. That is sad. When he was first voted in I thought our nation had really come a long way, even though I didn’t vote for him. After his first three years I started seeing things in him that I knew we didn’t want him in office for the 2nd term. I spoke out as much as I could against him.

    In February of 2009 I started to wake up in the middle of the night because I was afraid. I knew why this happened but I still could not shake the fear that I felt. I went to the first tea party ralley in Tampa in April and found others shared the same feelings that I had. Anger was also equally shared. I got involved to the extent that I could. The only way I could find to vent was the Internet. By summer I was consumed to the extent that my friends told me I would have a heart attack & I did in August. Obviously I have survived but I am more angry now - at both the pubs and the dims, who have sold us down the river.
    I know there is no such thing as the “tea party” - just a bunch of people who want this Country back! It amazes me that so MANY do not care!

  I listened to his first campaign speeches and thought “How could this guy promise all these things that will cost money that we don’t have?” and I also wondered how he would accomplish all of this within 4 years. I had hoped people would also see through his promises and do some research on his background before election day but seeing all the crowds and some calling him the Messiah, I knew it wouldn’t happen. They were too involved in his charismatic lies. Even though his books sold millions prior to him being elected, it didn’t change anyone’s mind. Either they didn’t understand what he was truly about or they just didn’t care. “Free” is a very persuasive word.

There is also a major issue going on with parents and the schools on “Common Core” education. If he cannot be impeached because there is no will in congress, it is time to elect more Republicans/Libertarians/Tea party people to that Congress. If we can keep the majority in the House and get a majority in the Senate, we can marginalize O and his policies. I don’t see another way right now.

It was unheard of when the government was a work in progress with checks and balances. Too many times the majority political party walks all over the minority political party.
    
    We need to get back to the check and balance government, stop allowing the President to make and repeal laws through executive orders and/or just by holding a news conference about it, and stop blocking testimony from witnesses and/or those in charge of the agencies being investigated. We need government to follow the laws, rules and regulations in place prior to adding more. American citizens need to be put FIRST in this country. In the past 20-30 years, illegal immigrants are being granted more individual freedoms than the legal citizens and immigrants. This needs to change. Sanctuary cities need to be shut down via their governments by arrests. Illegal immigrants need to be deported, employers who hire illegal immigrants need to be fined and their companies shut down…

Oprah Winfrey’s shocking comments are totally disgusting. I used to have respect for her but no more. She and her cohort race baiters and disgusting behavior towards anyone with a different opinion deserve what they get (hopefully in the way of higher taxes and less deductions on their 1040s). I’m now quite sure that Oprah has offshore accounts. How else could she have accumulated the billions she has?

Let’s take from the rich and give to the poor. How about it, Oprah and friends? You all willing to give up most of your wealth and start helping the poor of THIS COUNTRY FIRST?

    He’s not spreading the wealth, he’s sucking up the wealth of this country via borrowing to pay for programs that we don’t have enough money to pay for at the time they are passed. Obamacare is a perfect example - the CBO says it will cost us $2.7 trillion over the next 10 years and since the Democrats have gained control we have been racking up $1 TRILLION PER YEAR IN DEBT.
    
    Our true national DEBT is about $87 TRILLION when you add in underfunded and unfunded obligations that will become due in the next 10 years. That means that taxpayers are on the hook for about $50,000 each.
    
    When the government borrows to pay for programs, they write and IOU and the FED gives them a check written on a zero balance account (printing money). The government then pays it’s employees, contractors and military who deposit their funny money checks into banks. The banks steal a portion of that deposit (90%) and loan it out with interest so they make a profit off the funny money that didn’t exist before the government borrowed it.
    
    I know this is crazy… even incomprehensible, but stick with me.
    
    We get paid with dollars (whatever their value is at the time) and we do the same thing - deposit our dollars into banks - another portion is stolen and while they keep 10% on deposit at their bank (fractional banking).     So the government spends, the banks loan and they banks and their share holders make money by slowing shrinking the dollar’s value. The dollar is devalued simply because the government could not afford to pay the interest and principle on the DEBT if the dollar’s value stayed the same.
    
    So next time the want to raise the DEBT ceiling PROTEST! They are doing it because they want to keep the scam going. If they can’t raise the DEBT ceiling, they can no longer borrow and will have to live within their means.

  There is hope I think. We got involved in the actual election process. We went out and personally met the candidates before the primaries. We talked to the, questions the, watched their faces when the responded and discarded any that we felt were not answering honestly.
  
  We picked our candidate, one not supported by the Republican party - they supported the career state politician who was not quite as honest and ran attack ads against his opponents. When they have to do that and can’t run on their personal integrity and accomplishments, something is wrong, very wrong.
  
  We then worked within our community and got people out to vote. We put campaign signs in our yards, talked to our neighbors and encouraged them to get involved in the same manner, and guess what? Our guy got elected against all odd that were given.
  
  Our candidate was Ted Cruz and we could not be more proud of him and of the people that supported him and got him where he is today.

  We didn’t just start down this path of destruction lately. We started down it in the 1960’s when LBJ got his great society programs passed. Then he illegally transferred money from the Social Security Trust fund to pay for Medicare/Medicaid which he touted would be revenue neutral (sound familiar) if they were passed.
  
  Then Nixon had to take us off the gold standard because the Great Society programs and the escalation of war in Vietnam ran up so much debt we could no longer pay the interest and principle on those loans.
  
  Clinton took us another step closer when he passed Fair Housing, repealed Glass-Steagall, signed various one sided trade agreements, appointed two corrupt individuals to run Fannie and Freddie, and declared a budget surplus by counting income from the Social Security Trust Fund which the Treasury was obligated to pay to recipients and should no have been part of the process. Clinton was a liar and manipulator, he left office having signed the last year’s budget which put the deficit at $133.4 BILLION for Bush’s first year in office.
  
  Bush…. I didn’t always agree with what he did. I didn’t agree with going into Iraq or Afghanistan, but he didn’t lie. He had 7 UN resolutions and the full vote of congress before committing troops - he at least played by the rules.
  
  During Bush’s last two years in office the Democrats were in control. Bush signed the first budget from them, but refused to sign that last budget presented him because he believed we could not afford more debt. So Pelosi and Reid passed resolution after resolution to keep spending and keep the government running.
  
  Obama….. I don’t really need to say anything about that except that since he has take office our we are adding $1 TRILLION PER YEAR to the national DEBT which is now running about $87 TRILLION if you count under funded and unfunded future government obligations due in the next 10 years. Obamacare will add $2.7 TRILLION TO THAT DEBT over a 10 year period and will increase with the population (CBO estimates and they are usually conservative when estimating - they sadly under estimated the cost of Medicaid and Medicare.

For me he was out of the race when I heard: “We are 5 days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” I GOT IT! Many Americans ignored the words and simply voted because of the color of his skin. How absolutely shallow — and racist!

To prove my vote would always be about agenda and content of character — I’d take Allen West in a nanosecond! I don’t see a color I see a patriot! Wow, if we’d have had him up there now, America would be in a very different position, and our national security would never have been jeopardized.

It just makes me physically ill thinking of how it COULD HAVE BEEN, yet there is no going back. America didn’t listen! And it frustrates and angers me that they did not! And worse, they STILL are not listening! What the heck is wrong with Americans that they can’t see what Obama is doing to our blessed Nation! What planet are they living on?

When I look at people like Allen West, Condi Rice, Tim Scott, Francis Rice, Lloyd Marcus, etc. I don’t see “black” people, or African Americans (they do know Africa is a continent right?), I see people that are smart, and do what they can to save this country from collapse.
